DJ Avicii Death
DJ Avicii Death
For those of you who weren't aware, beloved DJ Avicii (Tim Bergling) died Friday April 10, 2018. It sounds like he had been plagued with health problems over the years and will be sorely missed. What a truly amazing artist...

Well I'm sure he was "beloved" by many. I liked some of his stuff...

I've got a lot of friends who are really sad about this. Was he Prince or Bowie (or even Amy Winehouse)? No. Was he a major force in making EDM mainstream (love it or hate it)? Yep.

I’d say Donna Summer had him beat by 40+ years, but that’s just us old bearded queens talking drag races and shit...Eric wrote:Was he a major force in making EDM mainstream (love it or hate it)? Yep.

Everything's a cycle, Avicii, Daft Punk and some others are who brought it back this go-'round. I remember the Donna years, even though I was just a tiny bit young to go to discos. I am still an old bearded queen however, but I'm only going to talk about Drag Race to bring up how that show ruined drag. You can discuss amongst yourselves, I'm taking my old ass on vacation.Token wrote:I’d say Donna Summer had him beat by 40+ years, but that’s just us old bearded queens talking drag races and shit...Eric wrote:Was he a major force in making EDM mainstream (love it or hate it)? There was a show? I was thinking of that place on Howard and 2nd some 20 years ago ...Eric wrote:
