Electronic Community VS Physical event

Hi There,

I am doing a school research project on Burning Man. I am very intrigued and interested to learn about the Burning Man community and to hear the importance of not only burners physically going to Burning Man, but also the importance for burners to electronically participate in things such as blogs, burn2, second life etc. I just have some questions if anyone is interested in answering!!

ALSO, if anyone has any suggestions as to ways I could participate online please let me know

1. How important are issues of power, sharing, reciprocity, etc. in joint participation?
2. How much do you value online participation of Burning Man?
3. What makes an online community like this so special and important just like physically going to burning man?

Requests like this are generally met with extreme negatives.
The reason for that is everything that ever gets written about Burning Man or burners by someone who doesn’t go themselves is about 104% wrong, inaccurate, misses the mark, doesn’t ever portray things the right way.

Wouldn't "online community" be a better term than "electronic community"? The latter sounds like explaining something to politicians at a congressional hearing.

I’ll help you out with some answers that will be more important for your studies.

1. You are not very good at English.

Not one of your questions make any sense.

Lack of precision, poor structure, object relations ... all scrambled.

2. Your bad English may be a symptom of a general lack of formal logic.

Scattered enumeration, questions that include conclusions, and generally leading questions are not a good thing.

I’d recommend you focus on grammar and writing classes, take a formal logic class, and a speech and communications class.

Those basics will go a long way towards your continued growth and education.
