newbie for 2019

Post by phoenix5 » Mon Dec 24, 2018 2:10 pm

I am planning on going to Burning Man with 4 friends for the first time in 2019. We are traveling from Sweden, so we have to rent a trailer since flying with the necessay equipment will not be practical. We want to know where would it be best to park our trailer. We are having our trailer delivered into burning man but need to know where are we allowed to park so we can inform the guy delivering the trailer. Please let us know what is required. Thank you so very much

Hi Rosa and welcome.
Probably a good idea to reserve a trailer from a reputable company this far ahead. Prices will still be fairly reasonable and availability is still good. No one knows, yet, where you will camp this year. Placement will place camps sometime in the spring/summer, if you are camping with a placed camp. If you are camping on your own, which it sounds like your are, you will pick a spot that is not reserved or occupied when you go through the gate.

Tell us a little about yourself, what brings you to Burning Man, how did you hear about us and what do you like to do. If you decide you want to join a placed camp browse the Whan, When, Where. 2018's is at https://playaevents.burningman.org/2018/playa_events/1
Find a camp that interests you and let them know what you can bring to the experience.
I suggest you do a lot of reading about the Burn. Start here: viewtopic.php?f=95&t=54354

Tickets will go on sale some time in this winter. Don't forget to set up your profile so you can buy them! https://profiles.burningman.org/

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
