DGS Ticket Troubles

Post by kowtow » Wed Feb 27, 2019 6:14 pm

Today during DGS ticketing one of my campmates tried to purchase tickets.

For reference: I'm the camp lead and I registered his e-mail address ahead of the sale and was given the "Good to Go" so the e-mail address was fully registered, burner profiles created, etc., etc.

He was able to get to the point of choosing tickets and pass. He chose two tix and one VP then clicked 'Next/Continue' at which point the next window said "ticket code invalid" or something to that effect, a refresh of the page then returned the "tickets are not yet on sale"

I was wondering if anyone else had this trouble and/or if they've had trouble with DGS online ticketing previously, what was the best way to get it remedied in a timely fashion (DGS sale ends Fri (3/1) noon).

I had him reach out to ticketing support through the online form they have you fill out, but beyond that is there any other way to get timely support for this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Not an expert, but... in previous years, ticketing support has been EXTREMELY responsive and helpful. They got all our issues resolved.
Second, if he is using a mobile device, tell him to try a non-mobile device.

Discovered that the issue was on Ticketings side. The somehow provided him a link that contained an "extra space" in the URL which caused the problem.

You are correct there were VERY responsive and replied before the day was over.
