Shirtcocker survey says

The stallion would like to know if wearing chaps with a shirt removes you from the shirtcocker club.

I just dont see how a shirt adds to an ass-less, crotch-less experience.

A towel would be more practical.

My only gripe with shirtcockers and nudist is when they sit down on anything other than playa.

I'm not sure if it removes him from the shirt cocking club but it puts him in the sexy suit club for sure.

Why, does he have a pair?

I'm giving this a nudge over to Clothing & Playawear. As for the question, who cares... If it sounds like something that'd be fun to wear, go for it!

Agreed, wear what you like, it's Burning Man.
But for the record, the formula is (W-C)+T=S, where W=ween, C=covering, T=top, and S=shirtcocking.

I had to look up what "shirtcocking" is, and the first thing Google took me too was this: https://www.quora.com/Why-is-shirtcocki ... urning-Man

Personally, I do not want to suffer the thigh chafe, so I will make sure things are properly supported and out of the way as much as I can.

Take that anyway you like. :D

Chaps and a capelet would be cooler.

MyLarry has chaps. Heck, I have chaps. But the playa would kill our leathers.

At the event you might be more comfortable in chaps made of fabric. Virtually ANY pair of pants can be made into chaps. Go to Pinterest and search 'chaps'. Out of the 50 pictures pick one and decorate your pants to resemble your vision. Mine are levis with fur trim and fringe made of t-shirt shreds. Beer caps for conchos.

To my mind.... When you want to wear a costume, it is all about how cool that costume is. And at TTITD we have the freedom to make that costume as we think best, without having to worry about ridiculous puritan customs.

To wear chaps... I'm thinking he would need to bring a couple hundred cattle to go with that.

Now... here is a worthy "shirt-cocker" costume. I stumbled across this photo on the BM website gallery.

Elliot, that guy's got no shirt, how can that be a worthy example?
In that example, T is a negative number, and the equation solves to S minus T.

Try telling that guy that his jet pack does not qualify as a shirt, if he wants to call it a shirt... and he'll bite your head off, and then you will be a negative number.

(I hope everyone who reads this understands that we are kidding.)

The guy in the photo and the person in question in this thread, according to the maths, have been proven to be shirtcockers, chaps jet packs and all.

Like murder vs manslaughter, what makes a shirt-cocking a criminal is intent. It's one thing to be fully nude with metal mecha-dinosaur helmet or even strutting around in nothing but a fluorescent tube-top and assless and crotchless chaps. Nude for the sake of being nude. It's entirely another thing to be slinking around with a long shirt and no pants, thinking that you're getting away with being nude, but not visibly nude. That is like being some sort of exhibitionist pervert.

We know what you're up to. You're not being sneaky. You're not being clever. You're a shirt-cocker.

Edit: I messed up the way I wrote that last post, the maths indicate the person in question would be a shirtcocker but the guy with the jet pack is not.

I have yet to see the pants cannon deployed upon a SC, I've been waiting for a number of years now... Maybe all this shirtcocker talk will provoke those that own pant cannons to take more action. This is the year! Like the Bundy militia, they can make their stand at center camp and keep at bay the pant-less.

That will work, but you need a little rifling if you want range and accuracy. We don't want innocent by-standers being blasted by a wad of pants...
