I just dont see how a shirt adds to an ass-less, crotch-less experience.

A towel would be more practical.

My only gripe with shirtcockers and nudist is when they sit down on anything other than playa.

At the event you might be more comfortable in chaps made of fabric. Virtually ANY pair of pants can be made into chaps. Go to Pinterest and search 'chaps'. Out of the 50 pictures pick one and decorate your pants to resemble your vision. Mine are levis with fur trim and fringe made of t-shirt shreds. Beer caps for conchos.

To my mind.... When you want to wear a costume, it is all about how cool that costume is. And at TTITD we have the freedom to make that costume as we think best, without having to worry about ridiculous puritan customs.

To wear chaps... I'm thinking he would need to bring a couple hundred cattle to go with that.
