Sorry. This was really a "I don't know what to say--this is horrible" thing, not a joke.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Really, Simon, Crusaders? Isn't that how all this trouble started?

Wasn't lost on all of us..Simon of the Playa wrote:my visual puns sometimes go unsolved.
oh well.
I just finished reading "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins. Most of it was shit I was already familiar with; IMF, World Bank, CIA puppet-governments and the Arab/Muslim resistance to Western Imperialism. But really drives the point home and paints a fairly clear picture of how things have gotten to where they are in the post-world war era of empire... Especially while read on a bus ride across Malaysian Borneo with nothing but palm oil plantations as far as the eye could see where once were some of the most biologically diverse rainforests in the world.
A book I'd strongly recommend to anyone wondering "why?" In this fucked up situation of a world we live in.
