Do you drink Gandhi or eat him?

Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him.....

Gandhi tested his patience by sitting by glass of lemonade and not drinking it.
Gandhi vs. lemonade is the epitome of self-suffering.

Leomonade. Except for you Limeys - you don't know what the good stuff is.
In my waiter days an English customer asked me for lemonade. Told her we didn't have it. She said that was impossible, everyone had it.
Wanting to please, I went into the kitchen, found a lemon and proudly presented her with a tall glass of fresh lemonade.
This is NOT lemonade she said.
She was talking about 7-up or some shit like that. Really? You Marmite eaters baffle me.
Ghandi would be too tough and stringy, unless braised for a very long time.
Lemonade, please.

in england if a drink has "ade" on the end of it it means its fizzy, not that its flavored water with a galon of sugar added. hence cherryade, limeade and lemonade. your lemonade would be squash. This I know will only serve to confuse you americans more meaning my week has got off to a good start.

I think you should start an answer thread:

My mother makes killer lemonade. Meyer lemons to start, and water, and ice and just enough sugar to leave some sour.

I'm not even going to pretend that England can beat that. I bet there aren't a thousand fresh lemons on the island of Great Britain.
