Sex

Post by LordBarkin » Mon Apr 30, 2007 11:37 am

I am going to burning man as a virgin this year with my girlfriend. We are kind of freaky kind of nutty so I was wondering... what are some experiences people have had with sex intercouple stuff, single people having fun, and just crazy shit? I hope some people are comfortable enough to share. Come on what goes down?

I am getting pretty phucking excited.

I`m not sure how erotic this was,
but I smeared Cheez-Wiz all over my naked body early one mornig
and went to CenterCampCafe to rail against the scheming ORG and their Starbuck`s Coffee...only to be hungrily licked by some cold starving ravers that were camped on the sofas.
It was a semi-exhilirating, but also somewhat irritating experience for me.
I thought of it as a gifting experience and moved on.

Funny thing, I was sitting in center camp one morning and this couple that was rolling hard came over. but the guy was wicked hairy, so I wasn't interested, but she was so we sat and made out, but she was naked and I kept wondering if she'd washed recently and than it just wasn't there, you know, "making love" to a rolling stranger and just what the fuck are you asking for, free porn?

Other than my ex-girlfriend, let me see....

Wellllll, truth be told, not as much as you may have been led to believe. Let me explain. My first year, the Who What Where guide was chock full of blurbs about wanton sex. E.g. "Oral Sex Tuesday, " "Group Sex Friday." Theme camps had provocative names E.g. "Kick Ass Oral Sex Camp." So as a newbie, I was a wee bit excited and a little apprehensive. What am I getting myself into? But of course, BRC wasn't writhing in spontaneous orgies on the designated day or any other day. Theme camp names are, for the most part, just funny names. (I've heard Jiffy Lube is an exception.) Yeah, I saw two or three couples having sex in public during the week, but that's about it. If you want to attend a lecture or a seminar on sex, you're in luck. But the whole sex scene is pretty tame or so very underground or it so pales in comparison to the art, the wonderful insta-good neighbor vibe, that it didn't really register. Of course, my bio-luminescent body odor and snot-caked pants may have moderated my experiences in the sex department. But that's just a guess.

...yep. things quite often aren`t exactly what you`d expect at BRC.
...and very often that is a good thing.

The best thing is that you get to make it whatever you want it to be.

Personally I`d be OK with seeing more people fucking out in the open, It`s gorgeous...but I think people are afraid of getting busted for it, as they well could I suppose.

As far as sex in an alkaline desert...It`s fabulous, but
I agree with the points about personal hygeine,

I also wouldn`t recommend the sharp cheddar cheez-wiz for body painting, it turns an eerie yellow/green with the playa dust and the pungeunt musty/cheezy smell is hard to lose with the minimal bathing facilities available.

About the absolutely best way it can be put. There is a lot of stuff that goes on but you won't know about it unless you know the right people or stumble on the right stuff at the right time. The main reason for this is the Single Creepy Guy Effect. Having worked the Critical Tits After Party and having been in a camp that held the Canadian Beaver Eating Contest, it is very important to keep the Creepy Single Guys out.

The absolutely best stuff is not advertised at all until a couple of hours before the event. Some of it is very well organized and some of it is not at all. Just wonder around the Adult section of Burningman and be nice and non creepy and you may get invited.

I limit activity to making out - love making out. I have a few mates that dont really care, and would hit anything if offered. A little to scary for me.

1. Key parties
2. Orgies of various magnitude
3. swapping tents

and my favorite the -

4. Great Canadian Beaver Eating Contest - you and your partner perform, and are judged on technique, style and performance.

check out the handbill thats mooped at the entry gate. Tons more is listed, even more is spontaneous.

The Big O for breakfast.

But sex is more a distraction from the important stuff going on.
Not a criticism really.

Gyre - a key party involves some sort of lock, and bowl of keys partners grab a key and then find their partner. Ive heard of hotel keys being used, but in the absence of hotels I have seen little locks worn as jewlery with corresponding keys

I know what a key party is where people carry keys.
But if no one is carrying keys, does someone bring a set of locks and keys?

Might as well go back to the traditional method used before car keys.
You know, drawing names.

The only key I saw on the playa were the ones Scotto was giving out.
And the only lock that opens is for a boom tube straight from your home to the playa.

The tiny lock thing is cute though.

Famous Indian hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett
described an incident where two tigers fought and killed
a large bull elephant.
The elephant was probably disturbing a mating pair,
and that lead to a long fight.
The tigers were known not to eat the dead elephant.

Why settle for Bull Elephant when you`ve got some
hot kitty love right there in the den...

And, I`m not sure about the pesto but
I bet there would have been a totally different outcome if that elephant
wouldn`t have been such a hard-ass, and had shown up bearing a gift of goat cheese.

completely different outcome.
