Wanted to say a SWEET and MASSIVE hello to all who came and hung out in our remote controlled mobile chillout/makeout space THE LOVE SUB whilst out on the playa this year.
[It's the little Airstream trailer that self propelled itself around the playa and is covered in red EL wire and is full of red pillows inside...looks like a kid drew a picture of a trailer at night]
Super thanks for vistin', hangin' and makin' out etc - we must have had many hundred folk enjoy it over the week this year. We had to metaphorically throw cold buckets of water over a few couples (er, and triples too) at the end of each night...
If you tried to get on and were told we were full, we either were or more likely we were upholding the quality door policy ie you were 5 drunk frat boys who wanted to oggle at beautiful people in an intimate space.
Oh yeah, and the sleeping people - what's up with you guys? We removed about 2 of you an hour...GO HOME AND SLEEP!
We have just put together a little web site [http://www.lovesub.org] that tells the tale of what this is all about and and answers some of the regular questions we kept getting asking.
Check it out and drop a line telling us of your experiences in there...mail links to us on web site.
Love, light and positivity

PS I was the guy with the Brit accent who was driving half the time and throwing the sleeping people out...
PPS I been coming out to the playa 10 years...to those who say it ain't what it used to be or what it should be etc etc i say blah blah blah. It is still the most unique and special social experiment in the western world. Still the safest city for edge culture, for freedom, for crazy ass art cars, for women to bare their bodies without overt oggling (do a google for new orleans/mardi gras/tits for instance if you wanna see what the rest of society is like), for non-commercially driven human interactivity, still the only place where the social norm is really is community driven more than self driven...even if it is only for one week a year it matters dearly and deeply to me to know it is possible
