Greetings Everyone Yes I am a Newbie for BurningMan
But I have attended the Playdelfuego burningman local since 2004 and PEX fest and Freeform Arts all on the East Coast. I have a ticket and look forward to my first Black Rock Desert Burning Man event. I am looking for a theme camp to adopt and adopt me. I welcome your responses and referrals and advice.

Actively look for your theme camp. Few if any theme camps are looking at eplaya. Look at the list of camps and contact them. There's a thread in the 2012 Theme Camp sub-forum.
This year is weird because of the ticket situation, but people are doing the final push and may not want to break in someone.
Also, consider camping by yourself. You'll have neighbors and in brc that translates into friends pretty easily.

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Yes, indeed . . . as Fishy encourages, pursue the theme camp that looks right and fun and fulfilling to you, and tell them why you're a good fit. You will probably have to seek them out. That's just how it usually works.
