I signed up for a burner Penpal when it was announced in the JRS newsletter. Nothing has come of it since. What is happening with this? An answer from an administrator would be good. Thanks!

You may want to try reaching out to the address you initially contacted, or what was listed in the JRS article you're referring to. ePlaya isn't a support board for that program.
