Hello,
I see lots of info about theme camps....is there a list of non-theme camps that I could look at and try to join?
Thanks!

No, there isn't.

Re: Non Theme Camps
It's not that simple...
2014 theme camp lists won't be published for a while.
here can be found a list of 2013 camps some of whose themes were more intricate than others.

You can look through these and see what grabs you.
Some might not return this year and new ones likely will pop up.
Get involved here and/or your local burner community and see what connections you can make.

No, that's just you and me doing our own thing, with a theme or without, with public interaction or without, where ever we happen to camp. "Theme camp" generally refers to a camp that has applied for and received a reserved space because their theme is particularly interactive.

Yeah, joining a group (or more than one) whether local or on-line is your best bet. In the summer, if you're hanging out here, someone will put out the word of "Let's meet up and have a camp" and you can jump on one of those. Keep your eyes and ears open and tell everyone you're looking for people to camp with.

Re: Non Theme Camps
For every registered theme camp on the playa, there are at least 5-10 camps that aren't registered. Some have a theme, some don't - it's up to the individual participants to figure out what they want to do and who they want to camp with.
Read this thread - the info applies, regardless of whether the camp has an art theme or not.
