I feel it's important for me to add that I was not thinking about the fucking date yesterday. I was thinking that I am in crisis and I don't know what to fucking do or where to turn. I was thinking that maybe some of you could offer me perspective that I feel like I'm fucking missing.

I was on the opposite side of your conundrum financially, but same side emotionally. I had long standing doubts about my last relationship (we were together 7 years). You have to be honest. You cannot pretend. Everyone told me that it just gets harder the longer you wait, and it did. She suggested relationship counseling... I didn't think it would help, so we broke up. I might suggest you guys try that if you can afford it. Even if you decide to break up, he may not just kick you out if he's in love. Maybe you can stay with him until you find a job? Might be tough for him though, since you'd be doing the breaking up.

My ex has gone through a very tough time financially since I left, but she's on her feet. She agrees now that it was best that we broke up, if nothing else for the growth and clarity its given her (at least for the short term). I will say that I've had SERIOUS doubts about my decision the last 7 months. If she weren't on the other side of the country I might try to make it work. You should try to decide how permanent you're willing to make this change.

FUCKING student loan company didn't credit my last two fucking payments, and now is reporting my fucking loan to the fucking credit bureaus. So I have to spend time on the phone with fucking representatives and get more fucking paperwork from my bank to prove to these fuckers that they received my payments fucking months ago and that this is all their fucking fault and not mine, and fix my credit score you fucks.

Being an adult is fucking annoying, sometimes.

There needs to be some way to report those who file erroneous reports to credit bureaus, and there needs to be a way to get the stupid credit bureaus to correct THEIR errors. Even if you complain, they do nothing, it seems. They hold our feet to the fire so that we have to walk the straight and narrow, somebody needs to hold THEM accountable for THEIR actions or lack thereof.

Both of the twins defaulted on their student loans. Both of them. Out of six kids, these two. Besides the hurt and disappointment is rage. Then hopelessness. We were both served at work, we co-signed. So add embarrassment to that. So all this work we did to reduce debt was for nothing. I can't quit my job. We have applied for a second mortgage and now are in a race to get the loan before judgments are filed and a loan is impossible. Appraisal should happen this week. Good thoughts everyone.

On the other hand our youngest daughter graduated with her masters from oklahoma state-tulsa with highest honors. And my daughter in law graduated top of her class, passed her state boards and is now an rn. Just today got her dream job helping deliver babies.
