Hello Burning Planet!

I am going to Burning Man for the first time this year, heard about it in passing and decided to look into it. The only way I can describe what I felt reading the 10 principles is “Wow, I found it. This is it. I found home”.

There I was thinking I came from another planet as I have lived by these principles and thought I was slightly alone in my own madness. Now I can meet lots of people who are the same kind of mad, how very exciting!

I am most excited about the idea of gifting, can’t wait to find out what I can contribute to the community.

I can absolutely relate! Last year was my first year, though I had wanted to attend since the late 90's. When I finally did arrive on the playa, it was everything I wanted it to be and so much more! I get pretty jazzed now when I think of all the people who get to go for the first time and experience their first evening out on the playa, when the sun goes down!
