tatonka, congratulations on some kids well raised. If they want to see you, indeed, that's a GREAT reference to your ability and patience.

And I agree...you don't look ond enough to be a great granddad.

Two items of advice for you Simon:

1) Take lots of pics with grandkids. They grow up way too fast.

2) Be a 'bad' grandpa. Spoil the living daylights out of the kids and send 'em home. Remember, a bad day spent fishing with the kids is better than a good day at the office.

either the first, or last, weekend of June? 7 or 28? we can roll into July, but that starts pushing folks who are getting ready for TTITD, especially if they are traveling.

How's that for you, 420?

Loads of fun... and I'm running late for it! All for a good cause though, I managed to get everything together to be able to get the ticket boards opened up (whew!). Now it's off to the GLC to do more coverage and reporting.

Sounds good. I'm keeping the month of June early July open so most any weekend is good...

I let Sadie and Adam know and they are looking forward to it too :coffee:

ygmir, what a lovely bar. I could spend days there. good morning Marty, best wishes for project progress.
I'm going to show my ignorance here, and ask finally, since It's been bugging me: what does GLC stand for? General? committee?
Movers and shakers, making sure it gets done well. I appreciate that.
I'm talking my good game, one foot nailed to the floor, one foot dancing. Hopefully it will translate into something in the material world. The dishes are clean and put away, that's always a good start.
Same as ever. This time of year it's all dreaming, and everything fits, and everything gets made.

Hof ward ho! any weekend works for me. I liked the end of June last year, but I think that's just because the weather happened to be so nice.

yay, Sadie, and Adam, and Lucky!!!

I think in this case it's "Global Leadership Conference", A Burning Man event going on now in S.F.?

Hi Ellorum!
yeah, last year was great!
I'll wait for some more input, to try to make it work best, for the most, and go with it.
even so far between 7 and 28.

I'll go try to check the road in the next week or so. The recent snow will take some time to melt out of the way.
The road had washed even worse on the one "death turn" on the way up, so, if it's too bad, we'll need to use other options. One is to park at the bottom of the hill there, before the cliffs and bad switchbacks, and shuttle up (a mile?), or, "go around" and see if the road is any better, if not longer (prolly 30 mins longer). I'll also check with the county and such and see if they have any plans to work on the road.
Everything else is as it was, the road I built on my place wintered just fine. But, that one nasty turn. dang.
