So, umm, like, two can ride at once?

The visual-image-thingie of this setup both amuses and confuses me a bit.

double level means: I sit square on her back for normal riding; when my legs need a change, I can push back onto her head for a different angle and longer reach.

Have fun with that, y'all.

Elliot,

I know that you're fully booked up, but could you pencil in my girlfriend and I if somone cancels? 2013 was my first year and it was amazing, but not having a bike was my biggest regret. This year I'm taking my girlfriend for the first time and we'd like to be able to see as much as possible.

I know basic bike repair (replace tubes, tighten single speed chains, etc) and would like to volunteer some of my time either way. Also planning on gifting some non-piercing inner tubes as they'll fit in my luggage easily.

Cheers,

Guy

Greetings, Guy! I kind'a figure I'm deliberately overbooked, like airlines do, expecting a few no-shows, and any surplus bikes will likely be needed as replacements for those that "break in half". But if you bring enough inner-tubes -- and specially the thorn-resistant ones -- and help repair bikes, I will of course try to count you and your lady as insiders  , if there are many no-shows.
Check back with me in early August, like everyone else.

Picked up a small bike..Been run over... The fork, crank and wheel bearings can be parted out.. Also the coaster brake.. Wont strip the coaster break but will bring it along to part out as needed..Also have a crank assemble from a ten speed.. When I part something out, I put the parts (oiled) in a zip lock bag

Thanks! I definitely want that coaster brake to convert a derailer bike. I think can lace the hub to a larger rim.

Friendly reminder: Anybody who has reserved a loaner bicycle and then finds they cannot go this year…. I would sure appreciate being notified. I'm kind'a overbooked, and requests keep coming in.
At this point, I simply cannot entertain any more requests.

Come to think of it, I would appreciate confirmations also. Always good to keep in touch.
