If you're seeing a Captcha prompt at login, and you know you entered your info correctly... don't worry - it's us, not you. We're experiencing a known technical issue (it's minor, but annoying) which is causing the site's software to 'be on the defensive' so to speak. The Burning Man tech team has been made aware, and will hopefully get us hooked up asap.
If you can't stand the extra captchas and don't want to bother coming back until it's fixed, we understand. You can keep an eye on this thread without having to log into the site, we'll post something here to give you the all clear once the tech team has gotten everything squared away. Otherwise, thanks for your patience.

Resolved again. Hopefully it doesn't reappear in the near future, and we'll have something sorted for longer term in the near future. Thanks again to Backbone for all his help.
Edited to add: I spoke too soon, it appears the server's acting up yet again. I'm still thankful for Backbone going above and beyond the call of duty, hopefully the issue will be at our backs soon enough.

You may be aware but I thought I would post. I just was tasked with a little captcha. I thought the error message was funny. "You have exceeded the maximum number of logins." Or something like that.
