Post by vvandrful » Wed Apr 16, 2014 4:20 pm

Namaste everyone, I'm Mimi from England and I'm hoping to head to the playa sometime. Not sure when, but I'm determined to go, I'm pretty stubborn c:

Nice to meet you.

Don't worry, you'll get over that soon enough.

Sure! Well I'm 20 and I'm going to university in September to study English Literature and I'm excited about that, it will be my first time living alone too so I can't wait to meet new people. I'm hoping to save up to be able to come the Burning Man sometime in the next few years but I thought it would be nice to join the ePlaya since I've become kind of obsessed about going haha :) I also practice yoga and I think cats are rad. I also saw a dude with a mullet once.

Tell me something about you Elliot! :)

Very good. "Next few years." Hang around here on ePlaya, and you will be well trained by then.
But besides ePlaya, you need to read up on all the First-timer Information, and specially the Survival Guide. And everything else on the main web site. Lots of reading, but Burning Man is different from everything else in the World.

Bicycles eh? That's pretty cool :) I don't know a thing about bicycles, suppose I better start learning something about them if they're gonna be what I use on the playa.

Yeah I was hoping I'd learn a lot from the eplaya before I go, and of course I'll read the survival guide and everything.
