I donated to this way back when it came out because this guy is from my part of the world and he camps with the Space Gnomes (a Calgary based theme camp.)

The documentary has been finished and I've been able to see it.. and it's fucking amazing! I'm not sure if any of you had the opportunity to see the film at any of it's releases dates in the states (I hear it won a film competition in Cali against films with 100 times the budget) but this was a fantastic playa documentary.
Can you at least admit that nuclear explosions are awesome!?

So, I've looked online and Craigslist, I need to find a foam pad to sleep in my van on the playa. I can't use those flimsy, thin ones. Does anyone know a place to get a decent one?

Check Costo and Sam's Club. We bought two great folding foam mattresses at one of those two places several years ago. They are 2" firm foam, when folded, they fit into a carrying case that comes with them. They are exactly what you are looking for. (I'll try and find the receipt and let you know exactly which store it was. They are a seasonal item I believe.)

If you have Joanne fabrics around you, scrounge up a 40% off coupon and buy a chunk of foam whatever thickness you need.
