Hey, everyone.
We want to bring our small (20-30 person) theme camp to the playa this year, and we were interested in teaming up with another small theme camp. Since we'll both be small, we don't especially want to be a village, but we would still like to be next to each other. Is there any way to request that without applying as a village?
Thanks!

Yes. I think it's been mentioned in a couple other threads, but when registering as a camp you can request camps that you'd like to be placed near (or would not like to be near) by using the comments field near the end of the questionnaire. I'd suggest listing who you're requesting to be near and why (camp XYZ - we're friends, or camp XYZ - we share a generator), and for good measure the other camp should request placement near you.
The placement team does what they can to accommodate requests, but you should also know that the more specific your placement request is, the tougher it might be to accommodate you (or place the camp).
If you haven't already read this thread (as well as the tips for a successful questionnaire post linked in it), you should do that.

Thank you so much! Still discussing the first page of the application, so we haven't gotten to the comments section. I appreciate your help!

A great place to start would be searching the forums on this board! (you'll thank me later).
