Sig Lines and Avatars

So, I didn't believe that Dougly's last avatar was a picture of him, but the current one just might be...

I know you have to shrink it to 80 by 80? pixels and then upload. I've done it, multiple times, but not often enough that I can rattle off how for you.

Click on "Profile" at the top of the page (under the flames). On the left hand side, you'll see a tab for "edit avatar", click on that and there's a field to upload an image from your computer. Max size is 150x150 px, 256kb.

If the image is the wrong size, there will be a message, but it's easy to miss it.

Dougly had one of the best, but I can't now remember.
It had to do with the Barbarian being more polite, and civil, because if he wasn't he had more chance of getting his head thumped.

As long as your total sig is under 255 characters, it should be automatic once you create it & hit "submit" at the bottom of the field (just like a normal post). If it's more than 255 characters, it will never turn on.

Try this - under Profile, go to the "Board Preferences" tab (above where you post, not on the side like Signature). On the left-hand side, select the "edit posting defaults" tab, and make sure that "Attach my signature by default:" is set to "yes" (I've highlighted it in the image below).

Yay.

Now that we have technical issues tended to, I hope this can become a place to talk about our pictures and words and what they mean to us.

(Maybe we can post good quotes here...)
