So glad to hear you got through the surgery, ygmir. I'm with Patsch in saying that I'm sure the hof is absolutely beautiful the way it is right this minute, and there will be a crew of merry workers to do your bidding if you so direct.

I had a contrary end of the work day, and noticed on my way home that nobody else knew how to drive properly. Then I remembered I had the DVD of the latest Hobbit that I did not see in the theaters to watch, and THEN as I was unlocking my front door, the Fedex man was pulling into the parking lot. He strode up to me with a box containing my new little Guitalele. A ukelele sized guitar, sweet, funny, bright, nice tone, and very playable. I tested it out with Baby Monkey.

That's a good day right there.

A beautiful day today, so I took the day off to do outdoor chores. It is supposed to rain off and on pretty steadily for the next few days, and the grass isn't going to cut itself.

hmmm.. I flipped-flopped my avatar so it faces the other way to kid around with yg, (see post above) and now I'm thinking I like it this way better! haha

It was great to read a few posts back that things are going well for Oldguy! Woohoo!

Raining... springtime in the Rockies, a mix of hot summer and cold winter, no easing into gentle temperatures here.

That guitarelele le le ... looks sweet. Looking forward to hearing enchanting melodies!

The new Hobbit movie was well done, but deviated a bit too much from the book for me. I knew it needed changes to make it to the screen, but there are some details one simply does not muck about with.

It's a bright and shiny Friday morning.. and I'm not awake yet. I read an article about how one of my favorite art supply joints on Market street is losing their space after 37 years.... boo. The owner (third generation of the family that started it) actually doesn't mind, says he was given plenty of time and options, and he views change as a good thing, and an opportunity to make things even better. I do agree with that, but I'll miss their big dorky distinctive building after it's been replaced by condos. I hope they get an even more awesome new space.

I'm feeling better today, after a day or two of just plain blech. I'd like to just kick back and take things easy, but too much stuff to do. Happy Friday!
