I was just looking on intellicast.com for the local weather, and all of the sudden I felt the need to see something:
Sure enough, there it was. I miss it.

I was looking at some old threads and came across one from 2003 about how much water to bring.
At that time, I said

So here it is, over ten years later, and we haven't accomplished setting any safe tequila minimums! WTF.Captain Goddammit wrote:O.K., everyone seems to have a handle on the water situation - now what we NEED to concentrate on is establishing an absolute minimum specification of the amount of tequila each participant MUST bring or be denied entry. I, for one, have experienced DANGEROUSLY low tequila levels toward the end of the week; obviously this is a hazardous situation that should be addressed in future times. As someone just pointed out, margaritas require a blender, ice, and TEQUILA!! I mean really, you could shower with tequila but you couldn't make margaritas with water, now could you?

Had a few good gully warshers today, especially driving home, going south down duck hill into Carson City I could just about see 75ft ahead of me at 5:00pm. I can't believe the people who don't drive with their headlights on during inclement weather.

How are burners going to change the world into a wonderland of artistic expression and absolutely no MOOP if we keep ducking out of jury duty?

Re: The Bar 2014 Edition
It's just like with water - hard to enforce because sometimes a guy at the gate says someone's bringing it in for him.
When we have our camp meetings, I tell campmates that they need to bring 1.5-2 gallons of water per day, plus whatever they feel is a ridiculous amount of their favorite libations (a couple campmates aren't really drinkers).
I got in a bonus MagicMarty sighting last night. I was at HQ for a GLC wrap-up thing, and there he was. Good seeing you, Marty! It was nice catching up and chatting about the Hof. We also hatched plans for me to give him a tour of the workshop space I use, hopefully schedules will line up in the near future and I'll get to do that.
The weather here is on the cold and gray side - I'm not sure whether it's going to be an ooky day, or whether the fog stuff's just slept in a bit.

The weather finally broke up here in N. Nevada. I woke up to the pitter patter of raindrops for the third morning in a row- usually a welcome sound.trilobyte wrote: The weather here is on the cold and gray side - I'm not sure whether it's going to be an ooky day, or whether the fog stuff's just slept in a bit.
We're headed up to the playa for Rendezvous tomorrow and as of last night, there was standing water in places. Hopefully it will dry up enough to drive on by tomorrow. If not, we might have to set up in town. Bruno's may be the happenin' spot!
Now where'd my damn coffee cup go......

wow, great visit with Elorrum and MDF!! what great friends, what fun.
nice drive across the Sierra's and back, got to meet up with Nila, Piney, TITWI, MOONRISE,420, go to the MOrris, and Generator, and still made it to the Hof and home!
Took yesterday to recover......hahaaa.
We should all do that sort of stuff more often: visit eachother. nothing like "in person" to really get the smiles and such.
ha, I got recruited to do gate/Perimter at a hippy music fest this weekend, for 24 hours......haha this should be fun!! Looney Tunes and a couple other Gate folks will join us for the patchouli and drum circle fest!
TDIF!
