Time And Relative Dimension In Space

The TARDIS is coming back to BRC! It is the time machine from the show Doctor Who. It is traced in el wire, lite from the inside, has an under car light kit installed, has a phone , makes the TARDIS noise, plays Doctor Who music remixes and rotates as it travels forward. The show used ten different police call boxes.. So a person could take a lot of art and design liberties..

Diving into some of the timey-whimey wobbly bits deep inside the heart of the flickr engine, I've discovered an image to embed....

Most of my TARDIS is like the Matt Smith version but I did pick and choose a little bit on somethings.

Thanks Trilo! That is when I was getting my night license in 2012 before the whole thing would spin (same outside - new inside.) Hopefully I can bring it by your camp. Last year I still had a lot of fun but I had 0 things work or go right with plans and everything I was doing , hehe .

Hey. It's Cory with the dalek. We aren't going back to burning man. I just sold it a little bit ago to a nice chap. So, if you think a gained 6 inches and a British accent, don't be scared. He's a whovian and toymaker whom is fixing it up even more. Say hi if you can. Hopefully he can finally exterminate the tardis!

Cory, you absolutely delighted me with the Dalek when you came by Lamplighters last year. That microphone + voice synth system was fantastic. Sad to hear you won't be back on the playa, though I imagine it was quite a bit of work!

That dr who party was awesome. The host was awesome the people were awesome. Hopefully it's happening again and the tardis can make it out!

It's been fun watching the T.A.R.D.I.S. Getting better every year. I will miss the burn.

Hey man, how are you? Sorry to hear that you won't be making it back. My friends at camp are in California and they sent me your Criagslist post. If I lived closer I might have bought the Dalek, hehe. My future might be a Doctor Who theme camp, I am hoping to get a show related project done this year to sit at camp with the TARDIS. I am glad to hear the Dalek has a good home. If I see him out I will definitely go say hi and then the battle will be back on from there!

My experience has shown that having any MV is a chick magnet. You can only imagine the things that girls tried to do with the pink elephants trunk . . . .

Hey everyone,

I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that the Tardis will be at 2:30 and Basra!! The bad news is that it will not be the version with spinning walls.

Just after shooting video of the Tardis in motion it crashed and smashed into pieces. The damage to the frame is so bad that I will not have time to repair it before I leave. While this is devastating it is better that it happened here where I can still do something about it. I have the frame from the 2012 model which is the one in all the pictures,there is just a lot of work because I raided it for parts. The repairs are going well and I am down to the last of the building and rewiring new lights. I has added photos to the flickr link above of the damage, the repairs and a video of the spinning Tardis final run. The video cover pic will not come up but if you click on it it will play the Tardis spinning just seconds before the crash.

Maybe next year

Glad to hear that the Tardis is returning...I saw it briefly in passing last year but never had a chance to come check it out up close. Bummer about the crash but at least you still had something to work with. Looking foward to stopping by!
