I use my real-life nick as my playa name. Seems like that's how everyone remembers me.
Fosso - we usually have name tags, you can put your PlayaName on it along with whatever you want to be called at the moment.

Mine is easy, I'm Tamarakay everywhere except to a some who call me booboo. I tend to fall over things and get stitches a lot at BM.

At the M&G that BAC would probably be way below average - you may have to step up your game.

I just didn't want you to think I was a lush. I try to keep my BAC between 0.1 and 0.3, but sometimes the scales tip towards a 0.35.

Regardless, I can totally depend on you people whom I've never met to take me home and tuck me in with a nice cup of hot chocolate should that be required.

I don't even know how to reply to that... The last time I saw a stack of quarters, or penny's for that matter was when Fonzie was going to jump all those cars in the parking lot of Arnold's Diner on Happy Day's. No, I'm not that old, I saw those in syndication... What do you mean they were never in syndication...

I am sure we could find you a tent where everybody has a good time. 8) 8) 8)

Or, you could spend the night on one of our comfortable Barbie Death Camp couches; we promise to MOOP you up in the morning with the rest of the deadbeat hippies weary guests...

Last year, on the only day I didn't drink (not the M&G) someone broke out a breathalizer in camp and had a contest to see who could score the highest.

I believe the winning score was around 2.3 so don't be afraid to drink a bit. (yes, I am amazed that he was not only alive but didn't even appear to be overly drunk).

Not to bring up nightmare memories from the past, but my fear is that individuals may find their way under my tent kilt and I won't remember a goddamn thing about it in the morning.

Here's the short, long story - Do you guys remember Payless Drug Stores, they were the predecessor to Rite-Aid, well at 20 (a couple years ago) these two lady's (the garden lady and the head checker) took full advantage of me. They took me out for dinner and got me wasted on margarita's and then took me back to the garden lady's house and got me stoned. The only thing I remember after that was periodically drifting in and out of consciousness long enough to see them taking full advantage of "Free Willy."

It wouldn't have been so bad, but I had no control over my body, or the will to even think about it and even that wasn't the worst; I had no memory of which one aided me in breaching first... sigh... :(

Please don't free Willy if I'm trashed! He likes to provide a proper and appreciative thanks

Note to self:
  • Remain in control
  • Watch what you ingest
  • Make list of burner's you can trust (very short list)
  • DON'T UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PASS OUT!
I may as well be shit-canned here at home. Everyone seems to have plenty of sharpies right here with my name on em.

Hiya gang! I just wanted to pop in and say HI and touch bases and let you all know I miss you and I am focusing most of my attention on healing and maintaining my health after landing my butt in the hospital 6xs last year, erg! Not to boast abut I know I heard a gasp or two when a couple of you saw the weight I dropped (estimated 80 to 90 pounds! without surgery, simply now eating for Type 2 diabetes...try it, it works! Try it BEFORE diabetes hits you, I highly suggest...) and I think I carried my weight rather well, but who knew I had THAT much extra poundage?? Whoa!
I am now a skinny guy working on building more muscles...da' strong man---> ]'[ heh! heh!

Also, if I'm not at the M&G in the flesh I'll be there in spirit (Camp Envy most likely, watching the burn and hanging with a few other burners out here on the other side of the fence)'( Who knows if a miracle occurs I might show up at the M&G but it's looking like Camp Envy for 2014. Thanks CE! for all you do for us. :)

A side note, it was wonderful to see Embrace @ the Generator and soul filling to have lunch in Reno with MDF, Ellorum, yg, Piney, Lucky420, Nilasnake, TIWII
(and thank you TITWII for picking up the tab!) I ended up hanging out at The Generator and tore up a few pieces of plywood ultra thin "skin" for Embrace and met a LOT of hardworking, dedicated volunteers after ya'll split for the Hof and other destinations...'taws a wonderful soul filling day :)

Hola and a head Nod to Doc and Felony! and everyone else responsible for keeping BDC strong!

Much love to all, Moonrise ;)
I'm the MAN in a truck, burner who is stuck, you're in luck! I'll whip out my BIG tow chain and not charge you, not even one lousy buck!

(((Moon))) great to see you! 8) 8) 8) Welcome back!!!

After drifting around on this thread re: consensual highjinks     I feel no shame about boosting another topic: Eplaya ice shift this year? Gentle sent out a mass email to Arctica volunteers, including this:
First, we want to get THEME CAMPS who plan to volunteer together scheduled
for shifts. We ask that theme camps fill out basic info on this form, so we
can follow-up with instructions for sign-ups: http://bit.ly/themecamps2014

Please coordinate with your campmates and only sign-up for the minimum
number of positions on a shift that you know you can fill. Everyone loves
working in the igloos, and that means we have more volunteers than we have
shifts available. So please don't take the entire shift. Leave room for
others to join you. Your camp will make new friends, and we won't have to
turn people away who want to be part of the fun.

Please make sure every volunteer that is participating has filled out their
burner profile:

http://profiles.burningman.com/

AND the volunteer form. Select "Arctica Ice Sales" for question #25 on the
volunteer form:

http://profiles.burningman.com/participate/volunteer/
If we do this on the Wednesday, we will have bookoo ice for our M&G. Shifts are 3 hours long, and I prefer the 9am-noon since peak sun & dust hours tend to fry my brain out there, though I realize ymmv. Alternative: take over the 3pm-6pm shift and roll straight from Arctica to M&G. Might could get a BDC eplayan to pick us up in the Mobile Whorehouse. What say you?
