As your attorney...
Hello,
Seattle first time burner here. I just finished my first burn and wanted to join a board and interact with people because I am a bit introverted. I know some people on this board already, or met a few at the burn. As you can see from my name and avatar, I like Hunter S. Thompson. Though I am into politics and law, I have learned most people don't want to hear about it. I love movies and cooking and gaming (table top, board, and video games). I like to work out (and may step up my game after seeing how in shape some of the burners were). I love art and music (who doesn't?) but need to get more of that stuff in my life. I finish law school about 2 years ago, so it was nice to break free and I plan to go again next year.

Plenty of us are politically active.
So you're an introverted attorney?
Going for trial attorney then, no doubt?
The latest attorney I've engaged really raises the bar for how interesting an attorney can be, and that's saying quite a bit.
She showed up in leopard skin accessories and is wildly entertaining, even doing business.
Exceedingly politically astute, as well.
Glad you had a good time.
Welcome to eplaya.

Introverted attorneys can exist. If I need to go to court, I can bring it. That said, a lot of attorneys rarely, if ever, appear in court. I wish I appeared in court more, it would help me become more extroverted. I deal with creditors and bankruptcy and foreclosure defense primarily, rather than litigation, though, so court appearances aren't as common or necessary.

Hola and hello...
Love your Eplaya name.
Lots of comedians are introverts too. Not that I'm comparing the two...

Welcome to Eplaya.
Since you've been to the burn - how about telling us your favorite playa story just for shits and giggles.

Welcome. I have an extensive collection of little brown bottles. Mostly empty.
Every year I bring my Hawaiian shirt and stethoscope, but I've yet to make the Hunter S. Thompson pub crawl. One of these years.
A woodblock by a campmate made to gift one year, sorry for the crappy quality, I can get a better one of you like:

Welcome! My husband is an introvert and it is really fun to watch hi sparkle at the burn. He becomes a different person. I'm normally an extrovert, but this year I found myself seeking solitude.

If there is not a camp for court, there should be. Bring the history of law and hold court in the style of your choosing! Resolve grievances; create more. Sounds like fun ...Your Attorney wrote:I wish I appeared in court more, it would help me become more extroverted.

That would be Thunderdome.
