Hello.
I plan to propose to my girlfriend at the temple this year. I'm looking for musically inclined, passionate people to serenade us. It is a specific song that I want performed, but I'm open to any interpretation of it. I'm afraid to post it here in case she sees this.
It will require a giving spirit as I'm asking you to potentially learn a song, coordinate a specific meetup time, and keep a secret. In return, I can give you the opportunity to be a part of one of the most important moments in my life that will hopefully move you or warm your heart. At a minimum, it makes for a fun story for you to tell.
You can contact me off the board at [email protected]
Thank you for reading my post.
Love and light....

Actually, I'm also open to a different song. Something like Ben Harper or Iron and Wine-ish. I'm open to a one-person serenade or a group. Male, female, somewhere in between the two, or outside both.

Well the way I see it, in a couple more days you'll be open to a washtub band singing "All my Exes Live in Texas"

On a serious note to the OP: Understand that playa time is precious and very few folks will share this dream or have openings in their "schedule" (or whatever we call Playa Time), so dont expect a miracle here. But they DO happen occasionally!

You got it. Rootpile, the only known Burner Bluegrass Band has you covered. We can be raucous or sweet, you pick it, tell us the song and when, we'll be there.

Looks like you got lucky! Keep us posted as to when it happens. Who knows, might swing by there for a look! Best wishes and congratulations to both of you
