My friend and I are in need of a ride to the playa. We are planning to be at the Reno airport on August 25, the time is still up in the air. We are both females in our mid 20s and are both virgins to this experience and would like some guidance. We each have one vehicle pass with us but no vehicle due to unexpected change of plans. I'd greatly appreciate it if we could stop by the store for food, water and other necessities on the way. We are willing to help out with paying for gas. Please let me know if anyone can help. It's very possible--in fact, highly likely--that you will not get a ride in the same vehicle. Most cars[1] aren't able to take on two more burners and their stuffs. So you may end up being dropped of at different times in different places. Are you able to handle that, or does it sound like a special kind of hell?
And be aware, just because there are a lot of people who are very liberal about personal volition, there are also those who are totally willing to take advantage of young women. I assume you have street smarts, don't not use them.[2]
