Namaste my dearest burners,

My name is Caille. It is the name that family, both Rainbow and Burner, know me by. I am an aspiring visionary artist, a sailor, musician, and seeker of spirit. My partner is Ecco, she IS a visionary artist, a graphic designer, sailor, musician and is also a seeker of spirit. I am originally from England, she is a Stateside girl.

We met at Beltane in Reno NV in 2000, fell in love nearly on sight and have been inseparable ever since.

Currently we reside in Everett/Seattle Washington until May 2016.

Our lovely sailboat, which is getting repowered this year, is normally our home and our solitude. It affords us a measure of self sufficiency we cannot generally find in consumer society. With a water maker, solar panels and some knowledge of fishing there is little that the sea and our own hard work cannot provide. Alas, all things have rocky shores to run upon and out boat's ancient diesel engine bit the dust. Thus we find ourselves grounded for the next two years while we repower and do some refitting.

Swallowed the anchor temporarily.

But, this has afforded us (the self sufficient boating lifestyle) the ability to save up enough to make the journey to the Playa. Of course like all things the realization that we could make the trip came after tickets were sold. So into STEP we went, onto the ePlaya we have come and with hope will we be sitting to double-register (since it makes you re-reg...why?) for the OMG sale.

It is our greatest hope to join our friends from the Visionary Art community this year at burn and next year at CoSM (Alex and Allyson are the dearest people in the world!) We had the pleasure of seeing them and perhaps some of you last night at Bassdrop.

We enjoy pretty much everything that makes the Burn culture what it is. From perma-culture and self sufficiency to visionary art, prop making, electric neon, fire dancing, and culture sharing to....well everything. As long time bodgerers we have a great deal of experience in taking bits and bobs and turning them into beautiful things.

Our current occupation is Art related. We are television and move prop designers who work on various television, movie and fan group recreation props. We are also very into Steampunk.

It is our sincerest hope to join you on the Playa this year, fingers crossed!

Caille and Ecco
Patience, like all virtues is cultivated, grown and nurtured. If you feel you are lacking in it, plant some, treat it well and watch it grow.
