Yes, when I was a teenager… my best friend and I had a code derived from the police/ham "10-codes". We didn't say the "ten" part, and adapted some of the common ones to fit our needs. Some examples;
10-3 "Stop transmitting": To us, "Three" meant "Shut the fuck up about that in front of these people!"
10-8 "In service": To us,"Eight" meant anything generally good.
10-9 "Did not copy, repeat please": To us, "nine" meant anything generally bad.
10-12 "Visitors Present": To us, a "Twelve" was anyone near us who wouldn't know what we were saying, but usually it meant a girl. An "Eight Twelve" was a good looking girl… a "Nine Twelve" wasn't.

TPBM hasn't had an Eggo waffle in a ling time but after thinking about it, wants one!

I love Friday the 13 - I got married on a Friday the 13th with a full moon, and we've been together 27 years now. My dad was born on the 13, so he gets a Friday the 13th every 6 or 7 years (leap years always screw me up in remember how often dates repeat) - he's in his early 80s and in better health than I, and never saw a doctor from his late 20s into his 60s. The date is all good to me!

I probably am. It's not any formal superstition, and I'm not sure that I have a lucky shirt, for instance. Sometimes, I do catch myself beliving something along those lines, and I try and take myself aside and gently remind myself that it's not true, and then gently remind myself that superstition is born from the way the human mind is organized and that I'll never rid myself of it completely.
tpbm instantly thought "5 or 6 years", because (except for centuries not divisible by 400) there will be at least one leap year, every seven years.
