No but like you I have a lot of cassettes since my truck has a cassette player, but I listen to radio stations that play songs that I had on 8 tracks....and 45s

TPBM remembers calling an 8 track player a "Tape Deck"

Never visited The Best Friend Animal Society in Kanab, Utah. Been through Utah a while back but never through Kanab.

I've never seen them in the same place at the same time. It seems completely possible that they've always been one and the same.
