Queue time/time stamp etc.... Why are we curious? For me, is the line advancing and how far? Or the worst one, have I some how missed the email offering the STEP ticket and don't know it? Isn't there some way for our Burner Profile to tell us an offer has been made? It can say we have registered, but what would it take to go that extra step... no pun intended!

check your spam folder , someone had their notice arrive in the spam . Mine did not

As was beaten to death at the beginning of this thread, there is absolutely no way to know where you are in the queue, and there is nothing even remotely resembling a time-stamp. All anyone can do is say roughly about when they got confirmation on their profile - but there is no way to know how many people got through at the same time, or were ahead of them, or are after them. Ticketing is not releasing that information.

Like tatonka said, check your spam folders to make sure it's not there. You might also want to make filters for any burningman or ticketfly domain, so they go to your inbox.

Just seem's slow to get a ticket through STEP so far. Registered first day for one ticket at 12:09. Not so long after it opened. Just figured I would have seen something by now.

Oh and what happen to "First come first served"? Y'all just don't want us to know that isn't a true statement or something? Is that why you are getting bent out of shape out of a simple question?

How can you anyone outside the BMORG know if it's slow if you don't know how many people are ahead of you in line? Time elapsed without knowledge of total requests processed doesn't tell you anything about rate.

You're the second person this page to question this, and I'm not sure why. People are guessing when they got into the queue (you even state "pretty sure" - which means you think, but don't know for certain). I would guess that one of the reasons none of the info about the size of the queue or times entered is given out is because of stuff like this, and people freaking out over milliseconds the first year of STEP - even though there was no way to know how many people hit the queue at exactly the same time (it's the future- they're not doing this by hand, and they're running multiple servers, therefore there can be multiple people at exactly the same time).

TL;DR: You don't have a ticket yet, so it must be that they're skipping around the queue just to avoid you. It certainly can't be the simple fact that you have no idea how many people are ahead of you, or, more importantly, how many tickets are being turned into STEP. When in doubt, create a conspiracy...

On many of the forums and FB groups it seems the snarky or angry response is the default one for the Burning man crowd. Not what I would have expected.

To Bblair, I'm not sure whats up with that. I got confirmation at about 12:16 and i was constantly refreshing, so I couldnt have got in the system much sooner than that. According to some people on this forum "dont question the system"
Are people getting offered 2 STEP tickets?? I thought I clicked 2 but I was mashing buttons so quickly Im not certain and only got offered the one.

Thanks for the replies. The link from @Trilobyte is pretty funny. I can't believe they have an official article on the snark attitude. I'm a pretty self reliant directions-reader and over-prepper, but I still have questions. For me the snarkiness has crossed the fine, fine line between irreverent with and assholey stupidity
