3 new burners

Post by Uliana » Fri Jul 04, 2014 10:28 am

3 new burners ready to burn! English and Kiwis!

Looking for some guidelines on the best way to get to the Playa and also would love to maybe join a camp, volunteer somewhere?

Might sound like a silly question, but when you come in do they just direct you to where you can put your tent up or you need to be part of something?

Thanks everyone, looking forward to it!

You (and both of your friends) need to read the Survival Guide and First Timers Guide. Twice. Then you'll have an idea of what extra info to look around here and elsewhere on the net for.

Good luck and welcome!

WELCOME!!

You park and set up your camp wherever you want, as long as it's within the city streets.
Like Jovankat said, read the guides. And read them again ad re-read them.

Theme camps are totally optional, but registered theme camps get reserved camping spots.

Anyone can call themselves a camp, and do something fun and themed, though. And you can simply camp alone or with friends (under no name) and still have an amazing time. There are advantages either way.
