Nope - and that's not released to the general public, or even other placed camps. Camps will be notified, and they can decide to make it public or not. A lot of placed camps don't want their location public, either due to the nature of their interactions or the limited quantities of what they're gifting (ie: the case of some food camps)

Beyond the reserved 6:00 street theme camp core, the remaining space in the block between Isfahan and Jade Streets, and 6:00 and 6:15, will be held these participants. You will find the Burner Express Bus stop and departure staging areas on 6:15 between Jade and Kandahar Streets. (These areas are indicated in green on the plan).

I like the street width changes. Much easier for long/combination vehicle maneuvering. More room to play in the street too!!!!

The wider streets will really be an improvement for mutant vehicle drivers, especially when a camp along that block has some kind of activity going on that draws a crowd.

The green section is intended for Burner Express campers who don't have another camp space to go, and who want to stick close to the dropoff/pickup point.

Edited to add: that the map has more shaded/reserved space this year, but that it reflects all the placed camps - that includes staff/departments as well as mutant vehicle or art support camps who requested placement. This should give people coming in when the gates open a more accurate picture of what will be available to them.

Does the "orientation" of the layout change yearly?

I understand the location of the layout changes, but does it always sort of "point" the same direction?

I liked where my camp was last year in relation to busy/dusty areas of the city and generally prevailing winds. We watched dust blow but barely any went towards our camp.

Can I assume that the same intersection would have the same general orientation to busy areas and prevailing winds?

I'm too sober for this to be so hard to explain, lol!

Anyway, not a big deal. You can't really expect to have the same year over year results for any aspect of the burn, right! And, who would want that!

Although things were pretty flawless last year ... which is also why doom is eminent!

The city's orientation has changed from time to time, but the current one's been stable a while. I always get a chuckle when people mention prevailing winds, because they tend to have a plus or minus of tens of degrees from one year to the next, and by 180-360 degrees during any kind of extreme weather conditions (which make up a good percentage of the time we're on the playa). When there's no significant weather the breeze will blow gently from the general direction of 6ish... otherwise it can come from anywhere.

Yeah the winds are "unpredictalbe" The term prevailing winds is meant to be the most general guide. Direction is most important when setting up shade structures, Like if you orient your monkey hut east west you'll have the sun poking in either end in the am and pm.

My "theory" was that the Org figured out optimal locations for certain infrastructure based on wind and dust variables.

"Optimal" on the Playa likely means very little when it comes to experiencing dust or not, though.

Does anyone know of the DETAILED 2014 BRC MAP. which would include theme camp placements, porta-potty locaitons, etc. Basically, searching for the digital version of the paper map we'll receive at the gate.
