Man, I'm still playing catch-up on stuff, and haven't finished unloading the van by a long shot!

Whew, the weekend sure was fun. Got to see and spend a little time with lots of ePlayans, but still managed to miss so many things. I think it was just a few more than 500 but even then 5 days just didn't seem like enough time. Hot as hell during the daytime, and very little wind... though the location was tucked between some mountains so we were spared any of the heavy duty stuff like you'd get if we were out on the playa. That bar sure was great, wasn't it Yggy? I'm glad you reminded me to go check it out. I've got some pics, but haven't yet had the chance to go through 'em and post just yet. I was a little surprised that there weren't more burners. Lots, to be sure, but plenty more who live in and around Reno and either just never got into Burning Man or who have teaching jobs or some other reason the week doesn't work for them. Despite being such a hot day, our ice cold lemonade wasn't as popular as I'd thought - turns out it was because so few people were just walking around with a cup.

The traffic home wasn't as fun - as it turns out a lot of people in Calfornia had ideas about going away for the holiday weekend. D'oh!

Long time no see. I've had a very very weird, difficult year. I didn't mean to be away for so long. My computer broke back in September/October and I didn't get it replaced until March, so that was part of it, but major life bullshit was most of it. Anyway, I've missed it around here.
