Ok so I did search around but with the new Entry hours and other changes to vehicle policy in 2014, couldn't discern an accurate answer, here goes:
For campers with EA Passes, what are the hours of operation at the Gate? Is gate open 24 hours to EA people, or closed for some part of the day/night?

Gate is open 24hours every day during Early Arrival. Of course, this depends on HOW early.

The gate is open 24/7. However, there are a couple things to consider.
You may not arrive before the date specified on your early arrivals pass. If it says Friday, they will turn you away on Thursday.
The box office does not open until Wednesday August 20th at noon - from that point it's open 24 hours a day. Anyone arriving prior to that time needs to not only have a valid early arrivals pass, but ticket (and vehicle pass) in hand.
If you are the first to arrive for your camp or project, you will need to have them radio your placer. They'll either come meet you, or meet you at a designated point in the city and escort you to your location. There are multiple people supporting each placement zone and they're on call 24/7, but if you're coming in the wee cracky hours several days before the gates open, you may have a wait.

One thing I'm unclear about is EA treatment for Sunday before gates officially open.
I know that no Sunday EA passes were issued, but... Can an EA holder for a previous day arrive on Sunday morning before 10?
For those of us doing ins and outs over the weekend, how late can we come back in? Saturday midnight? Sunday morning?
