The best thing I can say about today is that I didn't shoot anybody. I'm gonna' have to get a lobotomy to fit in at that corporation...

Stuie, please advise a wine for a whiner...

well, once upon a time I lived in manhattan and dated a very wealthy girl (same girl what dumped me in France). Her father was a rockefellar center trial attorney. I would go out to dinner at kick ass resaurants in NYC with them weekly. Not wanting to be rude I always drank the wine he ordered for the table. At first not liking it, then being O.K. with the lighter body reds; merlot, pinot and such. Finally, a few years later, loving the heavy reds above all. I don't claim to be any kind of guru but I do drink a lot of it and I know what I like. My super power is finding good red wines and champagne for people that think they don't like the stuff.

that's very sweet GE. I like the sentiment.

Z, I would be doing scotch with that cigar.

since CA wants something a little punchier than wine, why don't you two split a bottle.

Per Stuart's recomend, a glass of Glenmorangie, please.... and I think I'll step outside to light this cigar. The way my day's been going, I'm likely to set myself on fire if I don't

hey GS, how bout a white burgundy?

this montrachet sounds funky
Bright aromas of citrus peel and smoky oak. Full, broad and rich but in a very dry style; seems among the lowest of these wines in residual sugar. Offers good fat but the citrussy flavors are quite fresh for Morgeot. Not hugely dense but not at all heavy.

That sounds like a description of my day, perfect! Is it rude to take the bottle on the go? I've been spending an inordinant amount of time hanging about this place, meanwhile, life begins to crumble around the edges~

I honestly dont' think you get to call yourself the new girl anymore...

In fact, I'm declaring it so.

You're way too much fun to be the new girl.
