So I have been away for a while. Life has been a bit nuts around here.
I am stepping down as mayor from Blood Bath and Beyond. Sadly I am not able to attend this year. I am buying my self a car finally after 10 years and paying off my fine. So I putting this first. I have two jobs now in order to do that and save money to move in October. As some know, Tom left me for another women (no I did not know), he is moving to Vegas in April so the budget is even more tight around here's into an income. Trust me I would love love love to go to the burn his year. It looks like it will be super amazing and I wish I had the money :( so please for the love of bacon, TAKE TONS OF PHOTOS!!!!

I will be back out on the playa in 2015 and will be coming out with my super amazing boyfriend. Super excited to come to the meet and greet with him. Be nice and don't bite to hard ;) lol.
I will not have anything to do with bb&b from here out. Not sure who we will be with.

So for now I'm focussing on picking up the pieces and restarting my life. I most likely won't be on here much as my focus needs to go to work and my self ,but I will see you guys again in 2015!

I'm sorry to hear that TG but it sounds like you have a good handle on things so I'm glad for that. Keep moving forward and we'll see you in 2015!

TG, I'm sad to hear of your pain. I'm glad to hear you're making plans and scraping things together. Missing one year is so worth it if you straighten out some of lifes problems. It will be all the sweeter next year.

TG, use the year off to rest, relax and just enjoy a nice quiet week. That can be a refreshing and recharging experience.

Are you really sure you want one after not having one for so long? If you're like me and only need one occasionally, you might want to look into car sharing (e.g. ZipCar ... some other company too, but I don't remember 'cause they're not around here). It sounds like you don't have a lot of money, so if you're hell-bent on getting a car, get a cheap used car. The Car Talk guys are right: even a car that has some major breakdown (e.g. $2,000) is still cheaper than car payments alone (e.g. $400 * 12 = $4,800). New cars break too; the only advantage is they typically break less for a few years.

Still peak aroud off and on. Trying to keep my vision line of anything BM. Not going to lie it is so hard not going this year. Little thing here and there remind me of the playa. Heard a so g on the radio a few weeks ago and it sounded like the white noise of the playa. Not going to lie, I teared up some.
It's so hard to see people going this year and I'm not. But I am re building my life right now and that is more important.
I did get a car shortly after this 2006 Mazda 626. So nope nothing new. It runs and is nothing fancy.
My boyfriend and I got a house in the burbs of Cedar Rapids iowa. We take possession Aug 1st. Waiting to hear about a new job that will alow me to return to the burn next year if I'm able to land it. (Wish me luck!)
Things are going super awesome here. Have never been this happy in my life before. Hope to see you all in 2015.
