xoA.
I understood it pretty well. I was at the Deep End (dance camp at 9:00 way out about E or F) in my very first year at Burningman, and had the whole rigamarole of what psytrance, trance, glitchhop, and other electronic sic was explained to me some years back. At the time the Hitler meme Burningman vid was produced in 2010, Hitler was comparing dubstep to a an oil well spewing black tar all over. The following week, the BP Macondo oil well blew in the Gulf of Mexico, the largest environmental catastrophe that the Gulf has ever seen with the exception of a certain meteoritic impact at Chixculub in the Yucatan in Mexico some 65 million years ago. It seemed doubly ironic at the time.

My favorite electronic influenced music is still the mash-ups done by Dave Decibel, who's now a night time on-air personality at BMIR and a friend of mine. Dave did one in 2011 called "Bound for Gerlach'" that's still a classic in my mind, combining the Who, Jimi Hendrix, and the Bay City Rollers in a tune guaranteed to fry what's left of your musical boundaries.

Still though, the most incredible stuff ever written and produced in my opinion came out of late 1970s Jacksonville, Florida and Houston, Texas. Hearing it at 4 a.m. driving up Tennessee Route 62 was a rewarding and eerie experience. Tunes like "Saturday Night Special" by Lynyrd Skynyrd and "El Diablo" by ZZ Top.

It's late, I'm rambling. Good night.

Just checking in from Santa Rosa. All well here. They taught me to assert myself, and to let my emotions out, so I told a disruptive patient to "shut up". Maybe that wasn't the best thing for her, but it did wonders for me.

We had a guy that was coming in week after week with the same whinny complaint and people were being very gentle with him.

Now this is 4x a week for 3 weeks.

So he starts in AGAIN and I stop him and ask, very calmly, "Have you done any of the reading or exercises that have been recommended?"

He said "No because........... and didn't get any further because I told him, in no uncertain terms, that I didn't want to hear another word out of him till he had tried what he had been taught.

He didn't speak for the rest of that session.

The next session, he came in all smiles, shakes my hand, and says all he had to do was read the literature that was provided and he was on every page.

Everybody had been telling him the same thing for weeks, but pussy footing around.

I told him I was sick of him wasting everybody's time when he hadn't been doing the work.

It was the beginning of his real progress and I didn't have to yell at him again!!!

I had a killer toothache this weekend so I turn to google to solve my pain. Find out Urine Therapy is a thing, and that urine is supposed to relieve a toothache immediately ('cause, yeah, with a mouth full of my own pee I'm not gonna be thinking much about my tooth hurting anymore). The woman who I foster rescue dogs for tells me not to do that, she has some dog pain-killers. I can see how that would help ease my pain quicker. I get the medication and give it to my dog, but I still don’t like the idea of putting the dogs healing pee in my mouth.
So, instead, Monday I go to the dentist. His name is Titus. The reason I chose him was he has the same name as my favorite Hawaiian lifeguard/longboarder/musician, Titus Kinimaka. Please do not ask me who I hire to commemorate Don Ho. The Dentist gives me a prescription for penicillin but no pain killers. I hide my pain -physical, emotional, real and imaginary- far too well. He tells me to cut back on the ibuprofen.
And tonight all I can wonder is, had I only told him that less than 24 hours earlier I was reading up on-line about how urine can sooth a toothache, maybe the Doc would have been alittle more generous with his Hippocratic Oath when cutting that script.

I think I figured out a solution both to the pee jug dilemma and the re-hydration issues faced on the playa, I just need to work on my aim.

A guy walks into a bar.
His alcohol dependency is tearing his family apart.

A Priest, a Rabbi, and a Imam go into a bar.
The Imam doesn't order a drink due to his beliefs. The others follow his lead out of respect.
They have a nice afternoon talking and laughing.

I got a few dogs to walk, think I'll take them and a couple beers up on the hill before sunset. it ain't really a bar, but it's drinking with hairy friends, and sometimes, that's close enough.
