I will be there - after teching the show and realizing full well just how hellish the next day of tech is gonna be hung over.

I will be there, baby!

Brunch is gonna be trickier - I'm in the theater from noon on I think.

Sensei is forced, forced to work Saturday; and to make matters worse, it's swing shift. However, as I've explained to all, they'll need to hold a gun to my head to keep me there after 8:30. Sunday brunch works unless you guys go nuts and plan it before say, 9:00 a.m. or so. Which would be breakfast. Sensei doesn't do breakfast. Ever.

Hangover breakfast? Well, that's different. You mean the one you eat before going to bed, not the one you eat when you wake up, right? Oh yeah baby! Beth's Cafe and their twelve egg omelets served on a mountain of hash browns! You gotta overlook the crackhead cook and the incredible dinge and overall filth of the place, but at five in the fucking morning, what do you expect? I'd bet this place would make a real impression on our poor friends from Oregon. Still, when they do wake up Sunday with less of a hangover than they bloody well deserved, they'll thank us.

the anarcho punk in me will always love beths. i know my art is on the walls somewhere. somewhere. under all of those other crayon scrawls. Beths' is esactly what i had in mind. then, if necessary, we can booze it again at the BArf & Arf (probably with the Beths staff) and go for karaoke at the Rickshaw! YeeHAw! oh, damn, maybe that's only at night.

should we decide now? Beths for hangover meal or that cool veg restaurant in the purple house in ballard the next afternoon? comeon, ya'll. we gots ta get organised.

I'll cry if yer sober, Rian. Really. I haven't been drunk with you in YEARS, and we're not going to wait ANY longer.

As I said before, I'll think about brunch... I'm kind of tied to the group of friends that I'll be with, but I should be able to either convince them to come, or convince them not to be angry at me for ditching them...

either way...

Ok, we're talking about two different things here, right? There's the Hangover Breakfast (tm) or HB, and the various brunches. The brunches sound like they'll be smaller type things - we lose Lydia by noon, for instance - so, the HB sounds like a 'MUST'.

The party ain't that huge, not later anyway, and we'll find each other and discuss what time to bail and head to Beth's. Easy.
Miss Guin wrote:I'll cry if yer sober, Rian. Really. I haven't been drunk with you in YEARS, and we're not going to wait ANY longer.
Now that is a fuckin' sad picture. Firstly, a sober Rian... Yeesh! We can't and won't let that happen. You ain't drivin' Rian, unless it's drivin' me crazy. If Sensei has to stay 'sober', Sensei will stay 'sober', and I'll pack 'em in the back of the Ranger like cordwood. You know it's not that big a stretch and secondly, {ahem}, anyone who wants to slam a few down with Rian only has to show up to the LL on a Monday night {/ahem}. Which, I'm both happy and proud to say, is exactly what I've been doing since before this year's burn.

I digress. Or, we could cab it. The options are many but our chances to do this kind of shit are quite limited, actually. Let's make the most of it.

I cannot wait to see you all and have a bit of fun. i am pissed because my original outfit I was going to wear will not be here until next week. So now I have to figure something out.

[ahem back] well, slamming a few down with Rian at the LL is entirely different from being DRUNK with Rian. I have done the former significantly more recently than I've done the latter. I would expect THEE, Sensei Sweet, to know the difference.[/ahem back]

ok, first of all, Rian doesn't even drink sometimes at the bar.
second, Rian has become a lightweight, so making her giggly requires ONE drink.
third, few people have seen her really truly drunk off her ass. except maybe in college. and that one time in February.

maybe tomorrow.

so i'm finally mkaing this cloak that i mean to make for BM 2003. it's all sparkly black on the outside and three colors of silky shit on the inside. geometric chain designs stitched to hold the layers better. i probably won't finish the decorative shit, but the rest is about an hour from completion. not bad for eyeballing most of the pieces. it's looking pretty good and i'm pretty stoked cause it's for tomorrow!!

on that note, still don't know what i'm gonna wear, exactly. i need to pull out the hot pants and the new zebra fur accoutrements and the vinyl and the purple crinolin and see what speaks to me. *sigh*

Oy, Sensei's head hurts... I can't believe I only slept until 2. But I promised a full report on SeaCompression, and a (less than full) report is what you're getting...

After arriving at what Sensei thought was a fashionably late hour (9:00), Sensei was forced to cool his heals for awhile as all e-playans were LATE, as expected...

Hey, let's play a game and see if Sensei can name all the e-playans he saw and met over the coarse of the evening:

Captain Goddammit
GuinivereElise
Lydia Love
Notthat1
Reba and hubby Glen
Rian Jackson
Rian Jackson's mom!
Rob-the-Wop
Sandwhichman
Samtzu
Tiara (unexpected surpise from S.F.!)

Captain Goddammit made an unusual guest appearance. Sensei hit on his girlfriend, while the Capt. stared open-mouthed at Sensei. I'd feel more ashamed, but that emotion is so foreign to Sensei. Didn't work anyway, as she insisted on leaving with him, and ASAP. Oh, well...

GuinivereElise - The most beautiful and sensous young woman you'll ever have to good fortune to meet. What else can I say? The fishnet body stocking with the furry little chaps was, um, er, yeah... And she kept apologizing for wearing a thong underneath! You could tell she really felt bad about it. Now, Sensei's sister was a pro-cheerleader and she is also a world class dancer. I've seen the best, and I've seen the rest: Guin is simply the best dancer I've ever seen on this planet. Period. No shit, people: you owe it to yourself to watch her dance sometime.

Lydia Love - I have to go with our Miss Love for best costume. Fishnet stockings, short black skirt, fishnet blouse (!), black jacket. But here's the thing: the buttons on the jacket had all been removed and replaced with safety-pins. Each safety-pin had a little square black piece of paper on it: the top safety-pin said "First drink". I bought Lydia her first drink and off came the safety-pin. Then next safety-pin down said "Second drink". Guess who never let Lydia get too far away? You kiddies really shoulda been there - especially after 1 a.m. or so... YOWZA! Seriously, folks.

Notthat1 showed up in a bowler hat, vest and white-faced clown makeup. What a kind and gentle person this guy is! Notthat1 is one of those quiet types who seems to be enjoying pushing himself outside the box. Each time I see him, he's a little farther outside the box. Keep your eye on this guy - I see big things in his future.

RebA and hubby Glen - aka "Everyone's favorite brewers" were their usual charming selves. RebA looked spectacular in her white dress with all the fluffy frills. They managed to stay awake - and at the party - past midnite: Sensei was proud of them. And you guys really shoulda seen RebA! What's the word I'm looking for? Oh yeah; YUM!

Rian Jackson was her usual charming, outrageously sexy, self. There were two (2) costumes. The while-mom-is-here costume and the after-mom-leaves costume... Guess which one was Sensei's favorite? Try to imagine the little brat in a black vinyl bustier(sp?) with black hot pants. She marched around with her little riding crop and hand-cuffs and made us all pay... She spent way to much time on the vibrating bed (!) for Sensei's taste, but what did you expect? And truthfully, Sensei carried her across a crowded dancefloor to get a few minutes alone with her on the vibro-bed. WwWwWoOoOoOoOoOwWwW! Remind me to tell you guys the story about the electric sander that was applied to Sensei's privates (while on the bed with Miss Rian). I can't believe I asked a power tool to marry me.

Rian Jackson's mom was an absolute doll. She's even tinier that our Rian, but she exudes this force... it's hard to describe, but you feel it. She seemed to be gritting her teeth when she talked to Sensei, but I have that effect on people sometimes. The image of this quite conservative woman taking hits of vodka off her daughter's cleverly concealed flask will stay with Sensei for a long time...

Rob-the-Wop, Samtzu and Sandwhichman all made spectacular appearances (along with a number of other Oregonians). Rob-the-Wop was the pimpin'est pimp you've ever seen. The cane was a nice touch. Rob threated to give Sensei some absinthe sometime; I think he meant it, too. Samtzu was, uh, busy. I lost track of how many chicks he got 'busy' with... His kilt was sexxxy and apparently the women thought so, too. Sandwhichman was fun and looked great in his Chinese outfit. He kept bringing out the cellphone and showing me Tish's phone number (which a sober Sensei would have immediately carved into his forehead). He actually dialed Tish's number (oh, say about 2 a.m. or so) and handed me the freakin' phone! I left a loud, drunken msg. on poor Tish's machine. God forgive me. I'll ask for Tish's forgivance a little later...

And finally, Tiara herself! Usually associated with the S.F. crowd, the lovely Tiara was up here visiting her mom (get well soon, ma!) and took the opportunity to stop by SeaComp. We were all the better for it. You guys in S.F. need to share more, that's all I got to say. That, and I can't wait to see her again...

Ok kiddies, Sensei is past the point of needing a hit, and Sensei is going over to Sensei's dad's house for dinner this evening, so I gotta wrap this up. WHAT A FREAKIN' NIGHT! If you weren't there, you were missed...

Sincerely,
Sensei

Ok, aside from the many spelling and grammatical errors above (Sandwhichman?) which I blame on the previous night's alcohol consumption, I forgot to mention Nipper. The only excuse I have is that he was busy: I think he was the only e-playan to work the event - in Nipper's case it was medical - and he wasn't just 'on call'. He worked, unfortunately. Or fortunately, if you were the person(s) he 'worked' on. Sensei loves Nipper, and I want everyone to know it.

I also forgot to profusely thank all those who seemingly made it their personal mission to see that Sensei had fun on this enchanted evening:

Lydia - for making me laugh (while we both laughed at and with 'Canadian Girl'). Ask Lydia about 'Canadian Girl' sometime... And, she's just such great company. You read the part about Lydia's 'disappearing' costume, right? I love it when the evening just keeps getting better and better...

Rian - for giving Sensei, and everyone else who politely asked, a chance to sit next to (or lay down with!) the hottest little S&M vision anyone's ever dreamed... This girl is the real deal, boys and girls! (I mean "real" in terms of a sweet and terribly sexy young woman rather than as true S&M queen, but damn...) She rocked the party, as you would expect.

The Oregon Mafia - especially Rob-the-Wop, Samtzu and Sandwichman. They made the extra effort to get way the f*#k up here and back. I talked to the Portland rep and he said they were making an effort to pay back the Seattle crowd because so many Seattleites has made it down to their decomp a coupla' weeks back. I feel like shit for not going now. The're a great crowd and every one of them has this fun/slightly deranged look in their eyes... I think things are heating up down there every bit as much as up here.

GuinivereElise - You've all probably been in the position where you're going to meet someone, and let's just say it's a situation where you can't help but have really, really high expectations (ahem, thanks Rian!). When the reality hits you between the eyes (and that's what it feels like to meet GuinivereElise!) you just sort of... stare. Guin absofuckinglutely stunned Sensei. After regaining the abilitly to both think and move (how long this took, I have no idea - it felt like an alien abduction!), I threw my arms around her, of course; and I haven't seen my heart since...

The entire Seattle mafia - They made this party happen and so many of the usual suspect worked like dogs all through the event. Just to name a few, Mr. and Mrs. Peterman (Seattle reps) spent the entire evening at their photo booth and took pictures of everyone for the SEATTLEBURNINGMAN.COM yearbook. (Oh, go get your own link. The new pics probably won't be up for awhile anyways.) And there was Lulubelle, in the loveliest little clown costume, running pizzas back and forth all night so that the rest of us might stick our hands though the small round openings in the plywood wall that was "Gloryhole Pizza". That's an experience, lemme tell ya'.

And to so many others who came together (there so many stages, DJ's, bands, fire acts, art cars and whatnot that Sensei lost track of it all) to make this such a special day (and night! and morning!).

Thanks again to everyone who was there and to everyone who made it happen.

Damn!!! I thought that was Tiara with Riff Raff, but told myself i was outta my gourd. T, if you read this, i was shell shocked and utterly confused. Would have greeted you rambunctiously and properly had i been on top of my shit.

Course, by that time the pre party absynthe pow wow had already happened at my house (ok, fine, Sam, 'closet', as you like'). It made me fucking happy to have those cats at my place (Sam, Sandwich, Rob, and Nipper were all there) although that did mean some frenzied, half-effective cleaning: post 3am pizza crust and costume making night, post nap, post phone call from da Wop saying he was in the hood.

Sam and Sandwich were brilliant houseguests (ok, so it wasn't my house, i just spend lots o' time there). Was just sad that Rob left 45 minutes too early to come to breakfast! Damn it, next time i give you multiple phone numbers try the others, too. I didn't even get back to my house until 4 pm.

Lydia - lovely as always. What more is there to say?

Cap't - you fucker, you were there and i didn't get a kiss? Shame on you.

Notthat1 & Reba! - good to see you both! Sorry it was brief as fuck.

Q - would have looked for you but i still don't know what you look like.

Damn.

Guin - Still sexxxy has hell, lovely as anything. Always a pleasure. And let me rub it in boys - i got a Guin kiss. So there.

Aw, shit, no more lists, i barely slept last night cause my back is trashed.

Suffice to to say, the bunny fight was right up there on the high points. Howard is stealing our Chelsea and must be punished, even if he does do a mean ass fire sword. Tickle the feet! Pummel with bunnies!

Vibrating beds are best shared with BRCAC or eplayans, yessiree.

And thanks, all of you, especially Sensei and you other eplaya boys: my mother really enjoyed herself and DID NOT get freaked out.

Oh, and Nipper deserves a shout (ok, well he always does). The man rangered, cooked, did medic, and - shit - can't remember but there's something else.

I"m a lazy ass. But hell, you Portlander boys were my project. Thanks so much for coming up, all ya'll.

Oh, and sorry for the roundabout way back to the freeway. 99 is impossible to get around there, and i was trying to save you from the long way. Didn't work. Damn zoo gets in the way.

Well, seacompression was a great hit as usual. Thanks to all the wonderful Portland folks that came up to bless us with their presents and present.
My lovely Rian. Thanks for putting up with my working all night. One of these days I really will not work so much at an event. I Just do not know when that will be... hehehhehe
Can I say "DAMN SHE IS CUTE".
(Nipper is now afraid to see Rian in fear of using the cute word)
Nevermind she paid me back in the shower with a well timed hit of cold water...

Note to Everyone:

Rian will now make an example out of Nipper (somehow) for using the 'c' word 40 minutes before face to face contact (ok, i'm trying to remember it: cute is a weapon...)

i've been lenient with you all so far. and granted, we were all to scattered to bring the real smack down this weekend. but i'm calling out my other buddies... beware 4WotA...

btw, ya'll, you're gonna anesthetize me to the effects of the cute word. and then you'll really need to be afraid....

oh, and Tisha - i'm sorry. i told S-man his message was being cruel. he just laughed maniacally. *shrug* mised ya, baby.
