Dark year with a new Moon (2014)

Hello new and all friends,

I just looked up the moon for this year, and it is a new moon on Monday of Burn Week which means this will be a VERY dark year out on the playa. There are pros and cons to dark years, the pros being that stars and lighted art are that much more brilliant. The downside for those who haven't been in a new moon year is that it will be very dangerous for unlit individuals riding/walking around the playa. Remember to bring lights, during the new moon you won't even be a dark wad, you'll just be black on black out there.

Can we paint unconscious darkwads with glow paint like the highway dept. does with orange paint on road kill dear?

I believe that there is a provision on the back of your tickets that specifically allows for this.
