Hi I'm a middle-aged, (wo)man-child and I've been researching this event for EIGHT MONTHS but obviously haven't spent even a fraction of an instant surveying this obviously hostile, snarky board that doesn't treat their old burgins with kit-gloves. We can't find a camp because for some reason anybody we ask gets all hostile and snarky anytime we ask questions or unnecessarily mention that we're middle-aged and don't like staying up late.

Is there some sort of pen for soft-shelled crab-people like us?

I'm looking for a camp to join. I won't take up much space. I have many useful skills. I am a clown, DJ and a spiritual leader. (all at the same time

)

I'm looking for a camp with a raw food plan and steak and bacon dinners and plenty of fresh vegetables, and pizza and ice cream.

A water supply is a must, and showers. I'm not a smelly hippie!

And I need to plug into the grid. I need to power my RV air conditioning, and a freezer full of moopy Otter Pops, but those aren't for the camp, they are for me to drive around the playa in my art car and give away so I can spread the moop everywhere. Oh I need to plug in my art car too, it's electric.

And I have to arrive after the camp is set up, but I have to leave before tear down. I'm a busy person!

I tend to keep my own schedule, so I can't sign up for any camp duties. I need my beauty sleep.

I probably won't be around camp much either, I'll be out spectating!

But I'm willing to pay as long as it isn't too expensive.

I'm all for the 10 principles, but I have to keep true to the eleventh principle: ME ME ME.

So can someone find ME a camp?
