Yet another newbie here

Post by Netty58 » Sat Jul 26, 2014 3:41 pm

Greetings all,

My name is Jeanette (family and friends as I hope you all will be) call me Netty. I don't have a playa name but perhaps I will after my first burn.

Have been reading and learning a lot by reading the posts here. Thought I'd stop lurking and introduce myself. Been looking in particular at all the advice on sun shades. My mouth forms a large O at some of the ideas and projects. I'm still nibbling my nails about it. I suspect I'll find myself find myself in Home Depot soon looking confused and handling rebar and plumbing supplies

One question (well, the first one). I've seen mention of Meet & Greets. Is that something I and the boyfriend can stop in at or are they for volunteers and camp dwellers - we're neither. Sorry if that's a goofy question.

Best to you all,

Netty

Technically, you were qualified even as a lurker - it's a good way for us to draw people out into the open :D

I feel special anyway! It's been an interesting journey over the past few months thinking, collecting stuff, haunting thrift shops, and regaling people who don't care about the anticipation of joining this community. My lists are growing. I email myself, I email my boyfriend (I hate that word at my age), I write on scraps of paper, I write on my hands. I write in books if I suddenly think of something while reading. And I will forget something important I know. But that's part of the learning.

Welcome.

As mentioned above, the Eplaya meet and greet is open to all eplayans.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
