Around here (Seattle area) it's by telephone prefix, generally 206, 425, or 360. 425 is the "good" prefix (the eastside suburbs), 206 is probably right there with it (Seattle proper) and 360 can be good or really bad.

Cell phones are rendering this system obsolete though. Hell we don't even have a "home phone" anymore.

It started with American Boyfriend because I have a good friend whose name is also Chris and people kept thinking I was referring to him and that was weird. Also being new to the polyamory thing I liked the way it suggested there could be other boyfriends. And then Canberra Boyfriend came along and the whole gang was American Boyfriend, American Boyfriend's Wife, American Boyfriend's Wife's Boyfriend, Canberra Boyfriend, Canberra Boyfriend's Melbourne Girlfriend......

But now it's just me and American Boyfriend. The theory is good though.

Seeing things people say as cartoons is getting a bit out of control for me these days. Sure wish I could draw.

It'd make a really dark series, but somehow it still strikes me as funny.

I got a Star Fleet Academy titanium spork this week. Such a geek.

Our food boxes are packed, but they need to stay in the basement to stay at a decent temperature. Yeah, yeah, I know what the playa will do to them. No need to start the process early.

Howdy Bar!

We have packed nothing so far and only barely discussed food and shelter. Every other year I was planning next year on the drive back to defaultia.

This year, since we're flying instead of driving seems more like a seat-of-the-pants kinda thing.

I'll really miss the drive though...

Brought same supply last year -- returned to house with 13 cans unopened. People kept feeding me. And this year I have The Crazed Cook in camp. Word is, she wants to fatten me up. (For slaughter? She runs cattle in Texas,....)
You might want to stop by for her Bacon Tamalez. At last count, she has 750 of them in the freezer.
