Limited travel shuttle space

This year will be my first on the playa along with my husband. We are excited but getting there stresses us out. I am more of a pre-planner than he is and transportation was his job to figure out. So he has waited til now to realize that we cant rent a car or fly. So why not shuttle!? Sounds good to me. The only thing i wonder about is our cooler. Everywhere i read that we should have two coolers (one drinks one food). On the shuttle we can only take two "luggages" each. So how to survive with out a cooler then? Does a cooler pass as "luggage" to the shuttle system? Any suggestions? This question may seem silly but Im really focused on keeping my man well fed and hydrated. I want to make sure its a great experience for the both of us. Thanks!

I highly recommend coordinating with someone from your area (preferably a theme camp) to negotiate space in a box truck for more gear. You need 24 gallons of water, a week's worth of food for two people, not to mention shade, shelter, clothing, etc. From my understand Burner Express is used mostly by people meeting up with a larger camp, someone else's RV they're staying in, etc.

One of you will have to opt for the "Large" luggage option, allowing 4 pieces for that person.

You can always give the extra tag to someone else in line who needs it.
