I agree that a verse could be more than one line, no matter what the links I provided say.....
There is far more likelihood of personal gain for me by agreeing with you folks saying I'm wrong rather than going along with stupid websites.

One trip to the playa = experienced, know it all burners...

First good dirt storm or relentless bit of adversity, and your soft, candy-asses will be back in Reno looking for shelter. Hair all messed up, cuticles shredded, and nipples sore... among other things.

You don't know shit, and as such could admit this from time to time. A little humility will make it easier when the time comes to swallow your pride. Expectations from the first year can really fuck you on your second, just ask around.

Seriously (I know that violates all the TOU and TOnonU or whatever of PAGE TWO),

If you follow the source of the picture link, there was a documentary filmmaker at an Indian-named sports team match and filmmakers who put together their protagonist and the fan. It's reported that had a constructive conversation.

There is a whole anti-appropriation movement. I hope they will adopt the tactic of face to face appropriated people to appropriating people connections.

There is a movement now to encourage a large athletic wear company to discontinue team-connected Indian mascot clothing. It will succeed.

Back when I was 15- 16 I had a 1959 Indian , I would ride it out to the Grand Ronde res and show my friends. All of them thought it was cool . Coarse it just has the name Indian and not redskins. Indian MC co. has a indian head with headdress on the tank . guess the feathers are painted on so it dont matter :)

Yeah, I couldn't figure out how to find the source.

And the movement won't go away. I gotta wonder (and I do have my own scoffing at movement moments) why are there always those people who persist, even though it's obvious that it won't work. Seriously, if I were a fan of any of those teams, I'd write the owner every year.

To me, it's not amazing that people don't make the proper mental connections because they don't know the history. We have a sports team in Kansas City named the 'Kansas City Chiefs'. It's NOT an anti-Indian name. The Chiefs are named after 'Chief' H. Roe Bartle, an honorary chief of the Washakie Shoshone tribe of Wyoming, who, through his generosity and involvement in youth issues, left a legacy that will not soon be matched. Bartle was the mayor of Kansas City for two terms, a 30-year Scout executive for the Boy Scouts Heart of America council (who donated his entire salary back to the Scouts). American Indians who know the score don't include the Chiefs in their list of names to be removed from sports teams.

Fishy, I personally LIKE your fish brain. It comes out with some VERY intelligent stuff on a regular basis, stuff that makes me think. If that's little, I wish mine were like it.

Hello Universe, I'm a babble-speaking mystic, I'd be an ascet to BRC because I need a free ticket and am totally unprepared and I'll pretty much be a burden on others.
I'm broke and losing everything and I feel that splurging on a very expensive party right now is what will help me find my center.

Yes, the "takers" are the ascets. The givers are the asshats. That's it, yeah.

Yeah, I couldn't figure out how to find the source.
If you right click on the image in Windows or control-click in OSX, you will get a menu which will allow you to see or use the original URL of the image. That then will give you a good idea where to find the whole web page with the text.

The images that don't show up if you are not logged in - you do not have permissions to see - you cannot do this for those.

In this case the full story of the photograph is here:
http://www.clevelandfrowns.com/2014/04/ ... cleveland/

Mr ^Rhino, I am not deep into the appropriation movement, but I believe it is claiming native ownership of the word Indian, all tribe names, squaw, and more. It is not necessarily about respect or disrespect in how the name is used. So I would bet all Indian-related sports team names will be gone in less than 10 years.

There are actually some beautiful dynamics where tribes are using casino proceeds to expand their land holdings or sue over unjust takings.
