Even Keeled Fellow From the Midwest

Post by jamoB » Tue Aug 12, 2014 5:49 pm

Hello,

Just following instructions and introducing myself!

I'm a KCMO transplant now living outside of Manhattan. First time burner for 2014 and every day it feels like I'm a little less prepared than I was the day before!

Feel like I'm living this quote to the max as we lead up to Burning Man: "By Failing to Prepare, You Are Preparing to Fail."

^Rhino is from Columbia. If you feel you need to talk to someone from home, he's camping at the Black Rock Bacon/Beacon.

Jamo, just focus on the essentials: water, shelter, food, illumination, leave no trace. You'll probably be fine.
When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Now that you're here, don't forget the Meet-n-Greet on Wednesday!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
