New French Traveller coming up !

Post by xicluna » Tue Aug 12, 2014 3:48 am

Hello all of you !

I'm Val, a french traveller and a virgin of BM !!

I come this year for first time to the BM and I really don't know what must happen there but I'm pretty sure of one thing that will be awesome !!

I'm 24years old, open-mind and kind. I'm a good cook and a photographer. I pratice climbing, skiing (and try to learn snowbording) and in near future freebord !

I've already visit Dublin for St patrick's day (this year ^^), Oxford and London (this year too), San francisco (the week rigth before BM) and I will fly to Auckland in New Zealand just three days after BM.

I like to meet new people, so I sleep a lot in backpack and I pratice couchsurfing too =)

By the way I'm looking for a camp for BM 2014

See you soon on the playa !!
Thanks for reading !

Hi Val!

If you haven't found a camp yet, check the 2014 Theme Camps forum for groups that seem compatible. Email a few now . . . most are leaving for the playa in just a few days. It may be hard to get a reply, most people start looking for a camp in the Spring.

You might try also "Green Tortoise Adventure Travel" (google it). They have trips to the Burn. You would still need your own tent, but they could help you with travel, food and water, maybe a central shade structure. (Ask them).

Burner Express might also be accepting riders through the end of the day, if they haven't closed yet. This is cheaper and you would have to buy one of the tickets that allows a food and water stop. I do not think they have shade for the group, but you can camp near where the bus stops at the event.

Welcome, and good luck!

Come by and visit Black Rock City Fun Jet Camp 2:45 and E...ask for me. I will introduce you to some awesome French people! Or, maybe you want to get away from your countrymen for a few days...in that case, I won't introduce you. In any case...visit us!
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.
