I was not asked for my ID to get in but at every bar I was asked for my ID Kuddos to the bartenders:)

I've been going since 2006 (I was 27) and I went to many bars and camps and was not once carded. Not a single time. Not even a hint asking for an ID... until last year. Last year every single bar and adult camp carded me. Every one! Maybe I looked like a cop. Maybe BMORG or JRS did a good job educating theme camps. Even if you never got carded in the past (I never carried my ID with me) you may need it now.

I remember in 2010 a bar camp down the street from us (3:00 and Aish) got busted by a cute little half naked burner girl who wasn't 21 and hired by the police to go ask for drinks. She got them cited two nights in a row. I'm told the fines are around $1000 each and the person the camp is registered to is responsible. As far as adult camps I'm told the concern is more that they will not be allowed back in the future.

If asked, you do need to be able to show that you are 18 year of age or older. If not, you need to be accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older, who is willing to be responsible for you.

It is recommended that you carry with you on the playa: your id (or a least a photo copy of such) and your physical ticket.
